Description
A hairpin made of amber is used in the royal court or in a noble household for ceremonial purposes. These hairpins are made of silver and the two ends of the hairpin are gilded. The head of the hairpin is decorated with a flower-engraved amber, and with plum blossom design, which are symbols of chastity. The one on the bottom is enameled in silver, which adds to the lavish design of the hairpins.
