Description
Kim I-an (1722~1791), a scholar-official that lived during the reign of King Yeongjo (r.1724~1776), is portrayed in the full-length white robe and headwear of a confucian scholar. It is an outstanding example of the shading technique that effectively conveys the lofty spirit of a scholar.
