Description
Lee Gwang-sa (1705~1777) developed a Korean calligraphy style based on the style of the Chinese calligrapher Wang Huizhi (307-365). He believed that the inner energy and life force were more important than artistic elegance, a philosophy greatly appreciated by scholars and calligraphers of his time.
