Description
This Jar is collected in Yucheon-ri. It was apparently inlaid with a dragon rising up from the water. The glaze has partially oxidized into brown, but the elaborate inlaid dragon that exudes vigor and high spirits overshadows the color of the glaze. Dragon motifs symbolize the authority and dignity of the royal family. It is notable that this dragon design was carved on such a large vessel.
