This is a portrait of Cho Mun-myeong (1680~1732), a deputy prime minister under King Yeongjo. Painted when Cho was the minister of defense, it depicts him in an official uniform sitting on a chair covered with tiger skin. This is how officials were typically portrayed at the time.
