Jangheunggo is the government office that prepared and distributed mat and paper goods used at palaces. It was installed in the first year of King Taejo(1392), imitating the system in the Goryeo Period, and abolished in the year of King Gojong (1894). Buncheong ware with the inscription of “Jangheunggo” and “Insubu” were mainly produced in the Gyeongsangdo Province but some were also found in the Chungcheong-do Province.
