Description
Park Rehyun was a female artist who overcame the customs of Eastern painting of the time and established her own unique style. In 1969, while living in the U.S., Park innovated a new type of artwork which grafted printing techniques onto Eastern paintings. Clamshells displays her painting style, which combines the flatness and semi-abstraction of Eastern paintings.
