Description
A geumgwan, also known as yanggwan (梁冠), is a ceremonial hat worn by courtiers with their ceremonial robes called jobok (朝服). The gold-plated vertical lines in its center are termed "yang" (梁), the number of which differs according to an official’s rank. This official’s coronet is called geumgwan, as gold gilt is applied around it as well as a rod-like hairpin.
