Description
The Pure Land in the West governed by Amitabha Buddha refers to the pure land of Buddha where there is only joy and no suffering. "Painting of Preaching Amitabha Buddha" depicts Amitabha Buddha giving an infinite sermon in the Pure Land in the West, in which Amitabha Buddha sits at the center and is flanked by Bodhisattva of Great Compassion and Bodhisattva of Great Power and Wisdom along with other Bodhisattvas and disciples, while on each side of the painting are the four heavenly guardians.
