Description
Nam Gye-wu (1811~1890) was a fifth-generation descendant of Nam Gu-man (1629~1711), a prime minister during King Sukjong's (1661~1720) reign. He earned himself the nickname "Nam Butterfly" because he painted mostly butterflies his entire life. This is painted on Chinese paper and it has two parts. An iris is painted on one side, and lilies are painted on the other side.
